about

This is the first original song that we ever recorded together and shared with the world. Kentucky Anna Blues was on our first album released in 2015. It has always held special meaning for us. We decided to take another crack at recording it now that we have had years to perfect it together and revive the tune especially for our new friends and fans on the Ohio River at Bones' Tavern. We hope those shenanigators enjoy this special version and we thank them all for their support and hospitality.. Thank you for listening no matter where you are. lyrics

Come on Anna won't you pick up the phone? I know bad reception can be a gift in those hills that you call home. My boss called me in we had another wreck at the mill. The casters are down and I'm stuck out in Crawfordsville.

I'm stuck out in Crawfordsville with those Kentucky Anna Blues. I won't be down for a while. No I won't make it down for a while. I've got those Kentucky Anna Blues.

We had a good time on the river by the old ox bow bend. How we made the sweetest love beneath the iron bridge. Took a gamble on a riverboat rolling up and down the hill. Passing barges hauling ore bound for some steel mill.

It's hard to believe the few miles between heaven and hell. One day Anna I'm gonna get out of this god forsaken mill.

I'm stuck out in Crawfordsville with those Kentucky Anna Blues. I won't make it down for a while. No I won't make it down for a while. I've got those Kentucky Anna Blues. Yes I've got those Kentucky Anna Blues.
